Universal Robots has introduced the UR15 collaborative robot, which has a maximum speed of 5 m/s. The company says it reduces cycle times by 30% compared to other UR models in material handling operations.
The lightweight design and compact size make this collaborative robot ideal for use in confined spaces. OptiMove motion control technology helps improve trajectory smoothness, ensuring stable and precise movement even at high speeds and loads.
For wrist-down applications such as palletizing, payload can be increased from 33 to 38.58 lbs.
